2022 William Harrison "Sangiacomo Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay
Notes
William Harrison Vineyards & Winery is a small family estate in the Rutherford AVA of Napa Valley, founded by Bill Harrison, whose grandfather Antonio Perelli-Minetti was one of California's pioneering winemakers after immigrating from Italy in 1902. The seven-acre estate vineyard is planted to all five Bordeaux red varieties on Cortina series gravelly sandy loam soils against the eastern foothills of the Vaca Mountain range, with the first vintage produced under the Harrison label in 1993. Winemaker Sean Quinn oversees production, with consultant Charles McKahn continuing in an advisory role.
