The 2022 Grenache Lignee de Tablas Hook Vineyard is understated. A cascade of dusty rose, mint and violet pastille accentuates crushed blackberries notes. On the palate, it opens with a pretty inner sweetness and silky textures contrasted by juicy acidity, as air of lavender and spice form toward the close. It fades with primary notes, taking on a more savory personality while blue-toned inner florals and crisp mineral tones linger on. Bravo. This refined Grenache will win a lot of hearts. (EG)
