In the glass, the 2017 Yakima Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows good extraction with dark blackberry aromas, elements of black tea and dried herbs and hints of French baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate seems stretched, with the dark fruit expression swinging more to dark red fruit ,black cherry and dark plum skin with elements of coffee bean and bitter dark chocolate before firm tannins grip the gumline.
