Reviewed October 2025The 2024 Riesling Dhroner Häs'chen Kabinett is shy on the nose but rocks the palate with its herb-scented lemonade-like nature that brings aromas of lemon zest and yarrow crushed on slate. The 2024 is lively, sprightly, bright and far too easy to drink. (Off-dry)(AK)

The 2024 Hofberg Kabinett, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from fruit harvested at modest Oechsle degrees from cooler vineyards on the main hill (not from the backside as usual as these grapes got frozen) and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (44 g/l). It offers a beautiful nose made of pear, herbs, and fine spices. The wine is superbly playful and precise on the palate and leaves a great feel of minerals, herbal elements, and ripe orchard fruits in the long finish. This is a great Kabinett in the making. 2034-2054."(01/2026)
