Majuscule Wine was founded in 2009 by Greg Brickey and Jeff Davis in Napa Valley. The winery began with two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Mount Veeder, gifted by a local grower. Greg, originally a structural engineer, trained in winemaking through UC Davis and hands-on experience. Majuscule focuses on small-lot production—about 600 cases annually—sourcing fruit from high-elevation vineyards. Production is handled in shared facilities, allowing flexibility and precision without owning a physical winery. Majuscule remains independent, with direct-to-consumer sales and limited distribution.
