The 2023 les Pruliers was still in cask at the time of my visit and was really showing beautifully. The bouquet is pure and deep, offering up a blend of cassis, dark berries, coffee bean, a lovely foundation of dark soil tones, currant leaf, smoke, cedar and a topnote of both violets and currant leaf. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and again, marvelously sappy at the core, with fine soil inflection, tangy acids, ripe tannins and a long, beautifully balanced and really quite elegant young finish.
