Domaine Pierre Gelin has been a benchmark estate in Fixin since its founding in 1925 by Pierre Gelin. Today the third generation, Pierre-Emmanuel Gelin, oversees roughly 13–32 acres across Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin, including five premier cru holdings and the famed monopole Clos Napoléon. Farming is organic, with meticulous vineyard work—selective debudding, hand leaf-removal, natural fertilizers, and environmentally conscious water management.
