Saint-Estèphe is a renowned appellation in the northern part of the Médoc, within the Bordeaux wine region of southwestern France. Situated along the left bank of the Gironde estuary, it is the northernmost of the Médoc’s major appellations, just north of Pauillac. The area is known for producing robust, full-bodied red wines that are particularly suited to aging.
