Saturated ruby. Sexy, fragrant scents of candied dark berries, cherry-vanilla, roasted coffee, potpourri and pipe tobacco. Creamy in texture and impressively expansive, offering sweet blackberry and cherry compote flavors and an exotic note of candied flowers. Velvety tannins come up with air, adding grip to the long, juicy, smoky finish. I'd give this a few years for the tannins to relax. (JR) (91+?)
