The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Louis Bovet is a dark, mysterious wine. Black cherry, plum, tobacco, licorice and chocolate give the 2018 its dark, somber personality. A packed, dense wine, the 2018 has a ton to offer, especially once it softens a bit. Gravel, licorice, cloves, leather and tar add gravitas. The 2018 has gained quite a bit of weight since I tasted it last year. (AG)

Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, dried herbs, mint and cloves. Some walnuts, too. It’s full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Layered and textured with a polished, flavorful finish.
