Reviewed April 2026Pouring a transparent ruby hue, the 2022 Barolo Tre Tine is surprisingly graceful given the challenging season. Aromas of wild raspberries, fresh wildflowers, sweet tea, and orange citrus emerge from the glass. Medium-bodied, it offers sunny, charming fruit without heaviness, supported by refined tannins and refreshing acidity. A blend from Ravera, Le Coste, and Cannubi San Lorenzo, the wine reflects the estate’s effort to preserve freshness in the vintage. Drink 2027-2040. 9,000 bottles were produced.

Tre Tini is a pretty, perfumed package that will drink beautifully upon release. It brings together scents of summer berries with autumnal nuances redolent of pruned wood and wet leaves. Midweight, with piercingly pure raspberry, it flows with ease and grace, underscored by juicy citrus and saline tension. Powdery tannins bring tactile complexity, finishing with a cinnamon note. Marta Rinaldi gave all three 2022 Barolos a 15- to 20-day maceration, shorter than usual, and reduced the time in wood to preserve the fruit and finesse.
