Robert Sinskey Vineyards was founded in 1988 by Bob Sinskey, a Napa Valley physician and viticulturist who began acquiring land in the Carneros AVA in the late 1970s before opening the winery with his son Rob at the helm. Rob Sinskey has grown the operation to over 200 acres of certified organic and biodynamic vineyards across the Carneros and Stags Leap districts of Napa and Sonoma Valleys, with winemaker Jeff Virnig overseeing production since 1988. Marcien is the estate's flagship Bordeaux-style red blend, sourced from RSV's Stags Leap District vineyards.
