Ken Wright Cellars was founded in 1994 in Carlton, Oregon, by veteran winemaker Ken Wright, who previously worked at Ventana, Chalone, and Talbott Vineyards in California. Wright pioneered single-vineyard Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley, producing bottlings from 13 distinct sites across six AVAs, including Yamhill-Carlton, which he helped establish. His focus is terroir: each wine reflects the geology, climate, and farming of its vineyard. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in French oak.
