Bright purple. Deeply pitched black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by dried flowers and woodsmoke. Broad and brawny on the palate, offering bitter cherry and blackcurrant flavors and a hint of candied licorice. Shows good power and breadth, finishing with chewy tannins and a repeating licorice quality. (JR)
