Westrey was founded in 1993 by Amy Wesselman and David Autrey, who built the winery around Willamette Valley fruit and their own Oracle Vineyard in the Dundee Hills. Pinot Noir is the core of the estate, drawn from volcanic soils that give the site its structure and lift. They farm sustainably and work with a mix of estate and long-term vineyard partners, keeping production small at roughly four to five thousand cases a year. Fermentations rely on native yeasts and a restrained cellar approach shaped by their Oregon and Burgundy experience. The focus stays on balance and ageability, with Pinot Noir handled gently to preserve detail and the character of each site.
