2001 Michele Chiarlo "Nivole" Moscato d'Asti (375ml)
Notes
Michele Chiarlo is a family winery founded in 1956 by Michele and Giuseppina Chiarlo in Calamandrana in the Asti province of Piemonte, farming approximately 110 hectares across Piemonte's top crus with a focus on indigenous varieties including Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese, and Moscato. Nivole — Italian for "clouds" — is the estate's Moscato d'Asti, introduced in 1981 from low-yield Moscato Bianco grapes in the Canelli area.
