Family company based in Vrigny. 65% Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay. Certified organic. 25-year-old vines. 3–4 years on lees. 70% from the 2011 harvest, the rest reserve wines. Disgorged March 2016. Dosage 5 g/l. Less frothy than the Blanc de Blancs and the Nature. Sweetly yeasty aroma and creamy on the palate. Not particularly intense on the mid palate even with the greater depth from the reserve wines but reasonable length. Tangy and fruity finish, a bit like just-ripe apricots. Plenty of flavour. (JH)
