Lifted red and blue fruits, flowery incense, violets, and some darker, chocolate orange-like nuances all emerge from the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Terraces, a medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, textured 2022 that has rock-solid density and depth, especially in the vintage.

Shows a profile of warm, mulled plum and black currant compote notes threaded with loam, paving stone and licorice. Subtle alder and chestnut husk accents score the finish gently. Clearly from a warm vintage, but with restraint and subtle, lingering energy. (JM)
