Ramsay Wines began in the late 1980s as Kent Rasmussen’s way to craft approachable California bottlings alongside his more vineyard-focused Napa work. The label takes its name from his wife Celia’s maiden name and has always centered on generous, fruit-forward styles sourced from multiple coastal and inland regions. Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Chardonnay form the core lineup, made at the Napa facility Rasmussen operates with longtime collaborator Stefano Migotto. The goal has remained steady for more than three decades: reliable California character at everyday prices, built on broad regional sourcing and consistent winemaking.
