Notes
Lang & Reed Napa Valley is a family-owned winery founded in 1993 by Tracey and John Skupny in St. Helena, with a singular focus on Cabernet Franc as a standalone varietal at a time when the variety was used almost exclusively for blending in California. The winery takes its name from two of the Skupnys' sons, and sources Cabernet Franc from vineyards across Napa Valley, Alexander Valley, and Lake County, with the Right Bank bottling a reference to the variety's role in the great Merlot-dominant blends of Pomerol and St-Émilion.
