The 2023 Pinot Noir The Pivot Estate Vineyard is a gorgeous, wonderfully complete wine. Soaring aromatics open first. Pliant and expressive with gorgeous energy, the Pivot has a lot to offer. Crushed flowers, red cherry fruit, chalk, mint, sage and white pepper are all finely delineated. Brisk acids pull it all together on the salivating finish. (AG)

The 2023 Pivot comes from one of the latest harvests on record for Littorai—picked deep into the season after a long, cold year. The result is a wine that’s not yet fully open, with more tannin and tension than usual. Earthy notes layer over red fruits, mint, and a savoury thread of wild herbs and dried lavender. The structure is firm yet balanced, hinting at what’s to come. A quietly expressive wine that feels like it’s holding something back, for now. (ACQ)
