The 2019 Zinfandel Sadie Upton Vineyard is elegant, nuanced and wonderfully lifted. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon, mint, blood orange and sage lend notable aromatic complexity and nuance. There is a feeling of transparency here that is utterly beguiling. This is a classic Amador wine, and certainly one of the finest examples I have tasted. Sadly, 2020 will be the last vintage of this wine for Turley. (AG)
