Vinifera is Tuck Beckstoffer's latest project, using fruit sourced from vineyards in Napa's Oakville and Rutheford appellations. The wine could easily retail for more than $50, but that's not Tuck's style. Characterized by upfront flavors of ripe raspberries, black cherries and hints of dark chocolate with subtle notes of leather, cracked pepper and toasty oak playing a supporting role. Well-balanced, this wine is ready to drink, on its own or with your favorite meat dish.
