Ovid takes their inspiration from the its namesake poet's Metamorphoses, and the passage, quite roughly translated, "something old, something new." The "Experiments" are something different: each a never-to-be-repeated blend of Bordeaux varietals from the estate's mountain vineyard above the Napa Valley.
