The 2021 Bottled Poetry Zinfandel is a blend of 76% Zinfandel, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep purple-black colored, it opens with exuberant scents of plum preserves, kirsch, and dried mulberries, followed by hints of cedar, Indian spices, and rose bud tea. The full-bodied palate has a firm, chewy texture and plenty of freshness to support the generous black and red berry flavors, finishing long and perfumed.
