The Wine Palate
The 2021 Bottled Poetry Zinfandel is a blend of 76% Zinfandel, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep purple-black colored, it opens with exuberant scents of plum preserves, kirsch, and dried mulberries, followed by hints of cedar, Indian spices, and rose bud tea. The full-bodied palate has a firm, chewy texture and plenty of freshness to support the generous black and red berry flavors, finishing long and perfumed.

Perhaps the richest, most flavorful wine in the Storybook lineup, this wine offers remarkable depth of fruit and a substantial structure. Crushed raspberries and plump blackberries with black pepper and stony, iron-like accents. Made from organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
