Reviewed February 2026The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Clos des Noyers Brets has a little more creaminess on the nose compared to the La Rue Aux Vaches, just a touch of sea spray coming through with time. Fine delineation. The palate is vibrant on the entry with Granny Smiths, pear and light citric notes, impressive weight on the finish with a little more persistence. This punches above its weight. 4 barrels only. Pale lemon and lime. A ripe fruit with greater density, the orchard in play, nothing yellow. This has its own distinct character, pure white fruit on the palate with a crystalline note to finish.
