Review Date: 08/2025Based on 71% Tempranillo, 23% Syrah, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in 91% new French oak for 18 months, the 2023 Milk & Honey offers darker berries, cedary herbs, spice, scorched earth, and leather. Impeccably made and ripe, it's medium to full-bodied on the palate with a focused, polished mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Very much in the Russell From style and impeccably done, it will have 10-12 years of drinkability. Drink 2025-2037.

The 2023 Milk & Honey is coy in the glass, as nuances of dried black cherry mix with sweet herbs and peppery florals. It opens with balanced inner sweetness, silken and enveloping, as a tinge of dark chocolate contrasts with ripe red berry fruits. A saturation of fine tannins lingers on the close as hints of mocha and licorice fade. (EG)

Dense and dark, with a wonderfully seductive and velvety mix of blackberry puree and bittersweet chocolate–covered espresso bean. Notes of cigar box, cardamom and black walnut liqueur linger on the long, expressive finish alongside accents of star anise and dark rye bread. Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
