Reviewed February 2023Sour plums, black pepper, agave, blackberries and wild grilled herbs to the nose. Broad and juicy on the palate with a medium to full body and lots of fine, chalky tannins. Excellent length and texture. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (ZS)

Vinous
The 2020 Cabernet Franc Siesta en el Tahuantinsuyu (from Vista Flores in the Uco Valley) was 75% aged for 14 months in 15% new French oak barrels, with the remainder kept in concrete vats. Purple in hue. The jammy nose offers redcurrant, mint, dried flowers, herbs, and ash over an oak layer. Indulgent and creamy on the palate, the fine, reactive tannins and rich flow produce a lingering, taut expression. The 2020 is a long-lasting, fruity red. (JH)
