Review Date: 01/2026Very clean pale lemon colour. Fresh and lively, not a southern belle, but with energy and tension. A little touch of liquorice, but mostly a balanced stony feel with fine persistence. Holds together really well. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Jun 2025.

The 2023 Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly comes from a half-hectare of vines matured in used 228-liter barrels. I like the delineation and stoniness of this cuvée that evokes classic Mâconnais wine. Quite tensile. The palate is fresh with a touch of reduction and fine weight, lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper towards the finish. Good energy here though I would afford it a year in bottle.(NM)
