MAAL Wines is a modern Argentine winery known for its creative, unconventional approach to winemaking. It was founded in 2010 by Matías Fraga and Alfredo Merlo, who began by making small batches of wine from an abandoned vineyard in Mendoza. The project is built around a simple idea: to produce only Malbec wines with strong personality and authenticity. MAAL focuses on expressing the terroir of the Uco Valley and Las Compuertas while allowing the winemakers’ creativity to shine through.
