2020 Dutton-Goldfield "Angel Camp" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

A perfumed and notably spicier nose freely offers up its array of violet, lilac, red cherry and discreet plum scents. Here too the medium weight flavors are succulent and quite supple yet manage to retain good delineation on the dusty, compact and impressively long finish that flashes focused power. In contrast to the early drinkability of the Mendocino Hills cuvée, this clearly possesses fine development potential. Worth considering.
