2023 Domaine Rossignol-Fevrier Volnay 1er Cru "Carelle Sous La Chapelle"

Blended with 30% whole bunch and one-quarter of the volume raised in WineGlobe, the 2023 Volnay Carelle Sous La Chapelle 1er Cru has a slightly austere bouquet that takes time to open in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine depth and cohesion, darker fruit, a light marine influence and silky-smooth tannins. The stems are seamlessly assimilated toward the finish, which lingers in the mouth. This is the standout cuvée from Rossignol-Février this vintage.(NM)
