The 2023 Vougeot Les Petits Vougeot 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with a dark berry aroma mixed with damp loam and iodine scents. This has very fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a sense of symmetry and a linear, quite strict, saline finish. Give this three or four years. (NM)
