60% comes from the Côte de Nuits and 40% from the Côte de Beaune, half matured in foudres, the rest in older barrels. Ready to bottle. Bright red crimson. A lively fruit on the nose. Quite crunchy on the palate, just ripe enough, retaining a fresh red berry fruit all the way through. Tasted Dec 2023.

The 2022 Bourgogne Côte d'Or, which comes from various appellations, has a tightly wound bouquet with blackberry and redcurrant scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, quite juicy with a slightly granular finish. Give this a year in bottle.(NM)
