Review Date: 06/2025A slightly riper nose is comprised by notes of poach pear, apple compote and acacia blossom. The very generously proportioned flavors are rich to the point of opulence while retaining reasonable punch on the refreshingly dry if not especially complex finale. This too should drink well young but repay 2 to 4 years of cellaring.

These vines belong to Philippe’s partner, recuperated in 2023. 40 year old vines. Pale colour, softer and rounded. Then a good lemon and lime acidity behind. This will be for quite early drinking but a very pleasurable addition to the range. Interesting tangy aftertaste. The wood currently shows a little. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted Oct 2024.
