Reviewed January 2025Mid lemon yellow. Here there is an immediate impression of concentrated fruit moving into the yellow spectrum. Plenty of weight, even a bit of warmth, perhaps a slightly spirity feel from the wood. 50% new wood, being 2 x 500 litres. Harder to judge today but this should work out, and past performance of this vineyard suggests I may be under-rating En Remilly today. Drink from 2028-2034. Tasted Oct 2024.

Note: from .20 ha parcel. Here the wood treatment is less subtle though it's by no means invasive on the aromas of prominent mineral reduction, acacia and citrus confit. There is excellent volume to the rich and quite generously proportioned flavors that exude a bead of minerality on the lingering finish that isn't quite as vibrant. I would add that this is a wine that could easily be approached after a few short years of keeping.
