2023 Domaine Philippe Colin Chassagne Montrachet Rouge "Champs de Morjot"

A much earthier nose reflects notes of pepper, humus and a mix of red and dark wild berries. There is both good freshness and verve to the acceptably dense and nicely detailed flavors that display reasonably good length on the youthfully austere and somewhat rustic finale. This is a wine that could easily be enjoyed young or aged to good effect for 3 to 6 years first.
