The 2023 Zeltinger Schlossberg Kabinett is clear and refined on the nose, which is elegant and flinty, very well balanced and clear in its articulation. Astringent due to the sulfur dose, this is quite a sweet yet also savory and crystalline Riesling with stimulating salinity on the finish. 9% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted at the domaine in January 2026.(SR)

The 2023 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Kabinett comes from the uppermost reaches of the site. The shy nose doesn't reveal much, but the palate offers stone, slate and zest with a zesty lemon brightness cut by fruit. Beautiful zestiness frames the slate and shines with brightness. Gorgeously light and far from obviously sweet.(AK)

It offers a beautifully fresh and nicely complex nose of wild herbs, white peach, spearmint, lead pencil, lime tree, jasmine, and acacia. The wine is superbly playful as it offers both ripeness and creamy elements but also fresher flavors of zest and aniseed. The finish is long and precise. This is a remarkable Kabinett, in a slightly riper style. 2028-2043."(01/2025)
