The palate follows with concentrated crushed black currant, sweet vanilla, dried tobacco leaf, grilled orange zest, dark chocolate, and an echo of sandalwood that settles gently toward the finish. 22 months in 100% new French oak wraps these flavors in polish while grippy tannins, elevated acidity, and a full body drive the structure. It is still youthful and will benefit from patience as all of its components knit together.
