Perfectly delineated fruit, great spice notes and racy acidity and vibrant energy flow seamlessly thru this beautifully fruited wine. A great introduction to the fabulous quality of Puilly Fuisse from Chateau Vitallis.

This moderately rich Pouilly-Fuisse has mid-palate minerality with fresh and clean stone fruit and citrus flavors. After this, it fills out a bit and poached white pear fruit comes to the forefront with a very nice caramel overlay. Delicious and a great deal, too!

Sourced from vines averaging of 35 years of age and planted on clay-limestone Jurassic soils, the 2024 Château Vitallis Pouilly-Fuissé "Les Vignes du Château" takes on a rounder and more subtle guise. Notes of fresh pear, honey, white blossoms, and sunny lemon in the finish. I can see this being dangerously easy to drink. Be sure to have plans to share with a friend or two. Ideally paired with seafood, a lightly dressed salad, or your favorite evening snacks.
