Founded in 1772, Osborne stands as one of Spain’s oldest wine and spirits houses, rooted in El Puerto de Santa María and built by English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann, who began shipping sherry in the early 1800s. Over time, Osborne absorbed the historic Duff Gordon soleras, consolidating its position in the Sherry Triangle. Production follows traditional solera-and-criaderas aging, spanning biological flor maturation for Finos and oxidative aging for Olorosos. The bodega once farmed over 200 hectares in Pago Balbaína, underscoring its long agricultural footprint.
