One of my favorite wines from the tasting this morning, this really is just so pretty. The nose is bright and really pure fruited, bright red cherry, cranberry skin, the smell of pomegranate seeds in a cup, and a little bit of something slightly darker in the background, and then a little bit of anise and raspberry leaf are just floating in the far back, existing. The palate is bright and juicy with really great mouthfeel and enough acidity that the watering finish just goes on and on, but not so much that it remains tart for more than a brief moment, the moment I call "the pairing moment" where food would completely sand off that littlest edge and smooth out everything perfectly. This is really delicious and well-priced for the quality that you get, definitely recommended.
