his is slightly riper with fresh and bright red pinot fruit that lead to bigger, richer and fuller flavors that display an almost pungent minerality and excellent persistence. As it usually is, this is a wine of finesse and understatement with beautifully rendered middle weight flavors that offer both fine detail and solid focus. A really lovely effort that is worth a look, especially for the vintage.
