Note: from Les Chalandins, Quartiers de Nuits, Les Violettes and Basses Maizières. An ultra-fresh and exuberantly spicy nose features note of plum, red cherry, tea and a whiff of violet. The rich, delicious and beautifully textured medium-bodied flavors deliver both fine length and depth on the balanced, firm and sleek finish. This is an excellent Vosne villages and worth your interest. *Outstanding!*

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from three lieux-dits. It shows more red fruit on the nose compared to other Village Crus, with the stems a tad more prominent at the moment. Violets emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins that should loosen up during the remainder of élevage. Gentle grip settles in toward the slightly confit-like finish. Fine.
