Ruby purple, a light fine and charming bouquet, one could happily drink this without thinking twice. The Bourgogne may not have any great concentration, but plenty of charm, for sure.

The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge comes from vines in Flagey-Echézeaux. It offers a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, with just a touch of black olive coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins. It is a little compact at the moment, so give this a year once in bottle.(NM)
