Ruby-red. Pungent, minerally aromas of cassis, blackberry, licorice and violets. Thick, sweet and very concentrated, but lively and perfumed. This, too, is light on its feet. Finishes quite long, with a whiplash of fruit. An impressive '97. (ST)
