The 2021 Le Comte de Malartic Blanc leans heavily toward Sauvignon Blanc (since the Sémillon was impacted by frost) and contains 20% of the Grand Vin. It has an attractive bouquet with white peach, pear and melted candle wax aromas. The palate is well-balanced with a fine acidic spine, surprisingly spicy with a tang of lemongrass right on the finish. This is a good value for the money. (NM)
