The nose of the 2019 Brézé is richly fruited and creamy, showing tropical pineapple characters and giving the impression of opulence. It is concentrated and powerful with real intensity of flavor. Well-judged oak use lends a smoky, spice note while acidity and salinity pull it all together. This is dry Chenin Blanc at its best—ripe, powerful and fresh. (RG)
