The 2024 Pinot Noir Select pours a bright medium ruby hue and offers the broadest snapshot of the vineyard. Aromas of wild brambly herbs, ripe raspberries, cranberries, fresh pastoral herbs, cinnamon, and a hint of mint lift from the glass. Medium-bodied, it floats effortlessly across the palate with refined tannins, beautiful purity, and a long, elegant finish. These are singular wines that speak not only of place, but also of the people behind them. I love this wine and expect it to age gracefully for 20 years or more. Drink 2026-2046.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Select is remarkably pretty, as a cascade of violets and lavender gives way to cedar dust and dried strawberries. It is pure and graceful in style, with lifted textures and mineral-laced red berry fruits cascading across the palate as a subtle mineral saturation forms toward the close. The finish is gently tannic, leaving a citrus tinge that pinches the cheeks and leaves the mouth watering for more.

Founded in 1990 by former foreign correspondent Doug Tunnell, Brick House became an early Oregon adopter of organic and biodynamic farming. This 2024 “Select” Pinot Noir comes from Ribbon Ridge, a compact American Viticultural Area within the Willamette Valley that received federal recognition in 2005.
