The 2024 Pinot Noir Lola is deep, fleshy and super expressive right out of the gate. A burst of dark red-toned fruit, cedar, blood orange, pipe tobacco, menthol and dried herbs races across the palate. This is an especially bold, juicy style, and yet the Lola has plenty of the energy and savoriness that is typical of the Failla Pinots. This site in the Petaluma Gap turns out an incredibly distinctive wine. (AG)
